20th Anniversary Celebration - Photos & Videos

This version of El Choclo was created just a few weeks before our 20th anniversary show when Debbie injured her knee and was unable to perform the trio "Tango Del Atardecer" we had prepared for the event. Rose and Carolina perform this duet for the first time on Jan 28th 2024 and continue to re-work it adding hats and new costuming....stay tuned!

"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" performed at Tango Con*Fusión's 20th Anniversary Celebration at The Dome in Oakland, Ca.  Performed by former TCF Dancers: Michelle Gorre & Michelle Richards Improvisational piece by one of the first TCF members Michelle Gorre who joined in 2004 and one of the last TCF members Michele Richards who joined in 2017.  Never having danced together before they meet on the dance floor at our 20th anniversary celebration!  Music " Somewhere Over The Rainbow" by IZ Video by Daniel Peters

Derecho Viejo was choreographed by Christy Cote and Rose Vierling. It has been performed as a duet, quartet as well as with 8 dancers for our show in Berlin in 2018. Mira and Jasmine brought this back to perform for our 20th anniversary show. 

"Amelie" performed at Tango Con*Fusión's 20th Anniversary Celebration at The Dome in Oakland, Ca on Jan 28th, 2024.  An Improvisation by former TCF Dancer Mila Salazar, her partner Casey along with their daughter Simone - a young budding Tango Con*Fusión dancer who both follows and leads!
